Sorteo 2015 / Raffle 2015

La entrega del dinero recaudado y el paquete con los regalos vuelve a coincidir en el mes de marzo. Mes de muchos recuerdos para nosotros. Los dos viajes a nuestra querida Etiopía fueron en marzo.

Para agradecer vuestra colaboración, vuelve el sorteo Mita que consistirá en un vale de 25 euros para canjearlo antes del 30/06/2015 en productos Pequeña Mita.
Tienes hasta el martes 31 de marzo para apuntarte y el 1 de abril daré a conocer al ganador. Si en tres días no obtuviera respuesta, volveré a realizar el sorteo.

The delivery of the collected money and the parcel with the presents coincides with March again. It's a month with a lot of memories for us. We travelled two times to our beloved Ethiopia in March.

To show our grattitude for your collaboration, we are making another raffle consisting on a 25 euros coupon that can be used before 30/06/2015 in Little Mita products.
You have until the 31st of March to sign up on the raffle and the 1st of April I will let you know the winner. If there wouldn't be answer for three days I would make another raffle.

Envío 2015 / Delivery 2015

Antes de lo previsto... ¡Mita ha conseguido reunir el dinero suficiente para que Tesfanesh y Bereket estudien un curso más!
Además de conseguir pagar sus estudios, hemos podido enviar un paquete con fotos y regalos de mis hijos para sus hermanas.
Deseamos que llegue pronto y poder recibir fotos y noticias de nuestra familia etíope.
Muchas gracias a todos, sin vuestra colaboración no hubiese sido posible.

Before the schedule... Mita got enough money for Tesfanesh and Bereket to study one more course!
Besides paying their studies, we could send a parcel with photos and presents from my sons for their sisters.
We hope the parcel arrives soon and receive photos and news of our ethiopian family.

Objetivo 2015 / Aim 2015

Pequeña Mita aún no se lo cree, acabamos de estrenar el 2015 en el resto del mundo (en Etiopía están en el 2007)  y ¡el objetivo para este año ya se ha alcanzado!
Tenemos unos meses por delante hasta conseguir realizar el envío. En cuanto esté todo en Etiopía, habrá sorteo  ;P

Por primera vez, podremos abrir una hucha para los billetes de avión...

Little Mita can't believe it, we just started 2015 in the rest of the world (they are in 2007 in Ethiopia) and we reached the aim of this year!
We have some months ahead to make the delivery. There will be a raffle when it is in Ethiopia  ;P

For the first time ever, we can take a piggybank for the plane tickets...

Nieve / Snow

Pequeña Mita se queda asombrada por ver cómo sus amigos farenji tienen la cara cada día más roja. Les ha preguntado el porqué y le han contado que en sus países no hay tanto sol como en Etiopía.
En algunos lugares sólo disfrutan de pleno sol durante tres meses al año y que, en invierno, hace muchísimo frío e incluso nieva.
Tampoco sabe lo que es la nieve, pero por lo que le han contado debe ser muy divertida: pueden hacer batallas de bolas de nieve, montar en trineo, esquiar, hacer muñecos de nieve...

Little Mita is amazed because her farenji friends have a redder face every day. She asked them why and they told her that where they live there is not as much sunlight as in Ethiopia.
In some place people enjoy the sunlight only three months a year and in winter it's very cold and it snows.
She doesn't know what snow is, but she's been told it's really funny: they can make snowball battles, ride a sleigh, ski, make snowmen...

Halloween

Los nuevos amigos de Pequeña Mita le hablan de una noche especial en la que los niños se disfrazan y van de casa en casa pidiendo caramelos y cuentan historias de miedo.
A ella la parece muy curioso que les guste pasar miedo y lo hagan una noche en concreto del año. En cambio para Mita ya es bastante aterrador tener que salir de su casa cuando ya ha anochecido. No se ve nada y su madre no le deja sacar la vela con que alumbran el interior... Así que se tiene que armar de valor y salir a oscuras de su casa si necesita "ir al baño".
Por la noche se oyen rugidos que la asustan, y más de una vez ha vuelto a su casa corriendo porque se ha cruzado con una serpiente.

Mita's new friends talked her about a special night. The kids put on fancy dresses and they go from house to house asking for sweets and telling horror stories.
She thinks it's curious to have fun being scared and do it one night every year. However for Mita it's really frightening to go outside her house at night. You can't see anything and her mother doesn't let her take out the candle that illuminates the house... So she must be brave and go out at night when she needs to goo to the "bathroom".
Every night she hears frightening roars, and from time to time she has to come back home running because she's seen a snake.
